Package 1: Introduction to NDIS Housing

This Introduction to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Housing Training Session is designed to provide service providers (both housing and support) and others including Local Area Co-ordinators (LACs) and Support Co-ordinators with an overview of what good housing for NDIS participants looks like. The training is suitable for groups up to 15 and no prior detailed knowledge of NDIS and housing.
The training can be provided anywhere in Australia is a venue of your choice. It has been designed for organisations that wish to support their workforce, local providers and/or their local community with information about housing for NDIS participants and achance to engage with others about this important topic.
The session can be run as part of a larger conference or event. The session will cover:
- NDIS Rollout
- Impact on Housing Demand and Supply
- Housing for People with Disability
- Barriers to Housing
- Eight Housing Segments
- Interactive sessions with Group Work, Questions and Discussion.
